Keep content fresh
The assistant answers from the content as it was when AgentMySite last read it. When your pages or documents change, update them here so answers stay correct.
Re-sync a web page or sitemap
Section titled “Re-sync a web page or sitemap”Use Re-sync for pages you added by URL or from a sitemap.
-
In the sidebar, select Documents.
-
On the page or sitemap row, select the Re-sync icon (two circular arrows). It appears on rows with the status Ready or Failed.
The row goes back to Queued and is fetched again. Re-syncing a sitemap row re-fetches every page that was added from it.
AgentMySite compares each page with the copy it already has. Pages that haven’t changed keep their existing chunks and return to Ready quickly. Only changed pages are processed again.
Add new pages from your sitemap
Section titled “Add new pages from your sitemap”Re-syncing a sitemap row refreshes the pages you already picked. To add pages you published since, run Add from sitemap again and select the new pages. Pages you already added are skipped. See Add pages from your website.
Replace an uploaded document
Section titled “Replace an uploaded document”Uploaded files can’t be re-synced. To update one:
-
Upload the new version of the file. See Upload documents.
-
When the new version shows Ready, delete the old version: select its trash icon, then Delete document.
Uploading first, then deleting, means the assistant always has a version to answer from.
Remove outdated content
Section titled “Remove outdated content”Delete pages and documents that are no longer true, such as an old price list. The assistant stops using them as soon as they’re deleted.
Find gaps in your content
Section titled “Find gaps in your content”Select Unanswered in the sidebar to see the questions the assistant couldn’t answer. Add content that covers them, then ask the question again in the widget to check.
